Vegetarian Lasagna

I love lasagna, and I'm vegetarian. Over the years I have made a hundred different versions of this dish with varying veggies, beans, sauces, cheeses, etc. I would love to hear from others regarding ideas on how to make a great veggie lasagna. My best recipe is in my head, and I have no idea how to begin writing it down. I use either a meaty bean like kidney beans or veggie "meat" or tofu as the base for the red sauce. I always make a realy white sauce, after a couple times of trying the ricotta short-cut I've seen in a lot of recipes. Does not turn out as good, and white sauce is very easy to make - especially if you use a high quality mozzarella. When I add veggies I especially like broccoli and spinach.
