Hi, I am new here. My friend Jenny told me about this place and I thought that I would try it out. I am a stay at home mom of two children ages 6 and 4. I also work part time as a substitute teacher at my local elementary school. I am looking forward to meet lots of new people here and to hopefully figuring out how this whole thing works. Welcome! Look around-- find people who share your interests and befriend them- It's always good to respond to discussions first--- as people usually look to see what you're doing here before accepting or denying friends.
You'll find all kinds here- Its great! I have learned so much through the site-- Met some great people-- I've gotten tons of help and great advice, recipes, and really learned that we're all different but share alot of the same qualities.
Most of all- Have fun!

Welcome to my myLot and I hope that you have a wonderful time here, make new friends and meet nice people and hopefully finding this site helpful as well as giving us your thoughts and opinions about various topics. I am not sure if I know your friend Jenny but this has been a very nice place for me and have met some great people and have learned a lot here. I am a business technology instructor so we have teaching in common. Thanks for the welcome. I really like subbing--I get to do different classes each time. I have done everything from P.E. to music to art to regular classes to computer classes. Thanks for the offer of help---I may have to take you up on it sometime!!!

Hello! Welcome, this is a fun site just don't expect to get rich instead you will meet nice people and learn things - trivia, recipes, child rearing problems etc., and some you didn't want to know. LOL.

Thanks for the welcome!!! I look forward to getting to know many people here. It looks like a fun site and kind-of reminds me of my cafemom and mayasmom sites where we talk about child rearing, parenting and just life in general. Again, thanks for the welcome!!!

Well welcome to myLot..and I hope you find what you are looking for here!!! I enjoy this site because of the varied topics and members...I am not in it to make money..as I don't have enough time to devote to it for that..but I'm pluggin along...and it is a fun site..Good for you to be able to be a stay at home mom...it is so important for your children and not everyone can have that opportunity!!! My daughter is a stay at home mom and my grandkids are 6 & 4!!! Just the other day she said she wants to complete her credits to get her teaching certificate so that when the boys are in school full time she could teach!!! It would be a good match for their schedules!!! Have fun on the site...I look forward to reading your posts!!! :)

Thanks for the warm welcome! That would be great if your daughter did that. I love subbing because it is the same hours as my son and whenever I do work my parents(who are both retire) watch my daughter for me. I am looking forward to getting use to this site more and meeting lots of interesting people! And again, thanks for the welcome!

Hi, deesamps, welcome here. I hope you find some good friends and have fun.
I like to come here now and then and sometimes there are people here that I can change some good ideas with about how we can become healthier or find solution to problems or just talk about them and there is someone who listens.
I think everyone can find some special friends here with same interests.

I am new here to, I really have no idea how to do anything yet, lol. I am a SAHM to 3 children: 7,4 and 18 months, and #4 on the way, due in July.

Welcome to mylot. You will enjoy it here the way i am enjoying too. Earning is depending on your ability to do postings and responses with quality. As far as i know in my experienced what matters are those dicussions with quality. Referrals can help too and uploading a picture. Try all those and you will earn more.
