My 18 year old daughter left for Buffalo today to go live with her paternal Grandparents. My family and I have to leave our home by the end of the month due to financial circumstances. In the meantime, her probation Officer here in Florida tried doing a transfer on her arriving in Buffalo. It so happens that the State Attorney denied the transfer stating that being 18 and all she can't be supervised. Now my husband has to go and appear in court this coming Monday together with the probation officer stating that Tallahasse said my daughter could have supervision. You would think that the horrible situation my family is in the stupid state would cut us some slack. The only thing that would terminate my daughter from not being on probation is to pay off her outstanding court fee.

I am sorry you are going through a terribly rough time right now. I hope you have a circle of friends who you can talk with, and maybe a support group or public assistors who can give you guidance. I wish I could help you.
