Do you know the ten commandments?

I have been in a discussion lately that say Christians misuse the right ten commandments. The ten commandments that the Lord wish for us to follow is in Exodous 34 and not those in Exodous 20. If we can remember that Moses went up to the mountain twice because he broke the first Tablets he got and that the second time was in Exodous 34. If anybody have any views on this please feel free to give your opinion.
