When friends or other try to help you with something in your life, when do you consider their efforts of trying to help become TOO NOSY? i would like to hear your views on this because it does happen in life and sometimes, people arent really aware of their boundaries and there are people who are very keen about their privacy. Im looking forward to hear from you! thanks in advance...

I think offering advice when asked is passive and this kind of help suffices. But if your friend takes an active stand in helping even when you express discomfort or reluctance, now that's imposing a little. Once she becomes too overbearing, it becomes nosy and will get on my nerves. :P

There are people who really have the intentions to help you,but there are other who just wants to know about your privacy. You ask them for help and tell them your problem and instead of helping you they just wants to hear more about the problem, they exceed the limit and get curious and wants to know every detail of the problem to supposedly help you. Thats when they become NOSY.

If this happened to me I'd state my boundaries right away. If I asked for the help then they aren't being nosey. Now if they just butt in thats different. Unless its a true caring friend. Then that friend should know when its time to stop trying. Thanks for this discussion. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!
