So, it has now been proven that Bob Woolmer, Pakistan Cricket Coach was murdered, on Saturday night, by strangulation. What a sad day for all English cricket fans. Bob Woolmer always came across as a fairly quiet, unassuming man in his playing days. He was in the West Indies, with Pakistan, when the team he coached were beaten by an Irish side, and he expressed his disappointment with the team, before going to bed.
Later, he was found dead in his room and the cause thought to be stress related, but one or two things didn't ring true, like a spot of blood on his face and some bruising, which caused his death to be regarded as suspicious. Sadly, investigations showed that he was indeed strangled to death. Commiserations to Bob's family. This is, indeed, a sad loss to the world of cricket.
Now, we have to wait to see who the assailant was. Was it a player, a fan, or somebody who stored hate for the man? Do you have any views or speculations on this?

Man I seriously would like to question all the cricket fans that is there nothing more to life than cricket. What the heck do you think you guys are???
Sorry for being rude but can't help it. Seeing all these protests against the loosing teams and people killing just because there team lost!!!
We need to do something about the betting cause I surely believe that it would have been a fan or some betting mafia whom Woolmer could have known.
As the other day I was reading the newspaper I read that Woolmer was killed by strangulation and as there were no signs of somebody breaking in then it means that whoever did it was somebody know to Woolmer.
Investigation is still going on and I hope that something comes out and the responsible be punished.
Take Care
MAy GOD Bless YOU

Woooooooo, I can hardly be classed a cricket fan but I do have some knowledge of Bob Woolmer as an ex-English Cricketer, who, whilst managing the Pakistan team, has been murdered.
The truth of it is, sadly, cricket, in parts of the world is too serious. It's only a game for goodness' sake, so what is all the protest and crap about? You win some, you lose some, simple as that. It all depends how it goes on the day, in this GAME.
Bob Woolmer, they suspect, was murdered because he discovered match-fixing going on with the bookies. The team he coached, Pakistan, had just lost to a somewhat weaker Irish side, which ed him to speak up about the match fixing, and I suspect that's why he was murdered.
I just care about the man and his family. What did he do to deserve strangulation?
Thanks for your reply, Raphael. Brightest Blessings.
