While in public, do you pray before meals?

My family and I are practising Catholics. Whether we're at home or in a public restaurant, we really see to it that we pray before meals. I've noticed, though, that some of my friends whom I know are practising Catholics too don't openly do the sign of the cross and pray before they partake of the food. What about you? Do you still do this?
