Most of the time that I am tired or especially when I'm stuck on traffic i do get to catch some sleep while inside a bus or a jeepney. But i'll make sure that I won't fall deep because there are lots of crook people out there who will take advantage of your situation. Haven't you?

Sometimes yeah i tend to sleep in public transportation specially when im tired and sleepy. It is not happening on me very often but sometimes yeah i do! And actually i got an embarrasing moment about it before, COz there was a time that i went from my friend's house and we had a great time there but we didnt sleep, we hangout all night long and so when it was time for me to go back home, I took jeepney then i felt so sleep and very tired. I didnt expecting that i was fall asleep in the jeep and i wasnt noticed the time. The jeepney was on its way near on my place and i haven't give my fare yet. hehe The driver keep on asking for a fare and nobody in the jeepney are claiming that they are not paid yet excepts me. LOL Then i gave him my fare then i exit. LOL Have a nice day ahead!

i would think that sleeping is a good way to conserve energy. so i do sleep when i'm commuting but only when i've positioned myself safely in the transport vehicle. i avoid jeepneys if i can. and it's not a good idea to sleep on metro buses especially when it's jam packed. i get to sleep on provincial buses because it's at least a 2-hour drive and not a lot of stop overs unlike the metro bus which loads and unloads passengers almost every 3 minutes. i get to sleep on taxis as long as i locked the car doors before i sleep in taxis and the driver is already familiar with the place i'm going. i can also sleep in shared van/ fx/ shuttle mini vans that accommodate at the maximum, 10-16 people. most of the people you share it with is from the same neighborhood who are also regular commuters and mostly corporate employees as myself. i've never experienced the need to be extra careful when traveling thru a public transport aside from avoiding public utility vehicles that makes it so easy for crooks to do their thing. seriously, it's more like 40 winks already. :)

Definitely! I have slept often when I had to travel long distances to school. It's rather safe in Singapore so this is pretty much possible. Why, I can sleep standing lol. :P

I often sleep when I ride on a bus. It's ambience really makes you sleepy and tired. Of course, we might know that some people would take advantage on your situation. But don't sleep too hard, don't lose your full consciousness. So that, whatever may happen inside the vehicle, you would still respond to it in a manner that you will be safe.
