I love a good parade

I love a good parade. The colors and the people are so much fun. Our city puts on a parade every July that is a whole week celebration. The parade has grown every year over the past 10. It is now a major family event and the prizes are in the hundreds of dollars category now.
We always have a theme and most all of the entrants follow it. Even the ones that don't are a lot of fun. Our parade allows fancy cars, motorcylces and classic cars and farm machinery also. I love seeing the retired veterans in their old uniforms. It's fun to watch the childrens expressions as the parade goes by.

I am from Central Scotland and no my friend we do not have parades like this , we have pipe bands and things like that and people walking behind them , but nothing on such a grand scale as you , It sounds like great fun , that is the kind of thing I would love to capture on my camcorder . I would love to take my grandchildren to something like you describe , I know they would love it , and hell so would I lol xx
