do you collect it and save it up. for those who don't know, canadian tire is a store in canada where you can buy car parts, home improvment stuff, sporting goods etc. anyway they give out fake money with your purchase that you can save up to buy more stuff or have so much money taken off your next purchase. i know someone who saved for years and bought a brand new bbq with his canadian tire money.

I save mine but never long enough to be able to pay for a full purchase I get . I usually use what I have the very next time I go in to lower the cost of what I just bought but I know my cousin saves hers to give to her sister every year at Christmas so that it will help her cut down on her costs of what she buys that year . I have seen her having well over a hundred dollars to that is a really nice amount to be able to give to someone when you didn't really do anything more then buy what you were going to anyway to get it .

my friend even goes out of her way to get gas there so she can collect even more money. but it does work out in the end when you can save on your purchases

We sure do and its a lot of fun! We usually get gas from there when we have those 7 x's coupons.....I think we may have 30 something saved but am unsure what to use it for! But a New BBQ is a perfect idea and a goal to work towards
Take care

I seem to remember seeing something like this in the news. A whole community of local business owners were using fake money so that it kept the money in the store. I think this is a great idea. This is a way for you to save and the business to keep the money coming in. I like this idea. I like in Maryland and we would never do anything like that here. People are too greedy here.

My husband seems to collect the stuff. I've never seen him use it, but there are two wads of it lying around the house. Maybe I'll see if he's willing to part with some of it for plants this spring. I don't think we have enough for a barbeque or a pool (which is what I really want!).
