Any audioogists or speech therapist on myLot?

My son - We were on our way to the audiologist that day. That was the day we were told he could hear!! Finally!!

My son was born premature and failed his new born hearing screen. He continued to fail up until a few months ago. Now his hearing is fairly normal but it has been classified at borderline. What does that mean? I know he can hear but there are certain tones that he can't hear but does that mean that he will need hearing aides. Please somone explain this to me!
