Q. You have abandoned a sinking cruise ship and are in a crowded lifeboat that is dangerously low in the water. If nothing is done it will sink before the rescue boats arrives and everyone will die. However, there is an injured person who will not survive in any case. If you throw that person overboard, the boat will stay afloat and the remaining passengers will be saved. Would you throw this person overboard to save the lives of the remaining passengers? I will certainly throw that person overboard but when I asked the same question to my mother she answered she will never throw that person overboared because she says where there is a 'Will' there is a 'Way' and even I agree with her because we all know that there Are Many who Survived in Titanic..! So how will You answer this? Think and answer.

well the answer is quite simple.there are a bunch of persons.so maybe the persons who are in the life boat can take turns and get off the life boat and stay afloat in the water within the range of the boat for sometime.as you said if there is a will there definitely is a way.this way the injured person will have at least a small chance to survive and we dont have to live the rest of our lives with a guilty conscience of throwing a hurt person overboard.

Where you've said that the "injured person will not survive in any case", my survival instincts would probably tell me to "get rid of the burden". However, I also know that if, in fact, I DID end up throwing away an injured person, I would live with the guilt for the rest of my life.

But on the other hand Look you saved so many other lifes on the boat by just killing one. So seeing the ratio practically you've done a good job. Don't you think so?

No, I wouldn't throw the injured person overboard either. What if everyone who wasn't injured took turns jumping into the water and holding on to the side of the lifeboat until help arrived. Just gotta watch out for sharks I guess...lol. I agree with your mom on this one.

Ha ha..!I must tell you that you are in the freezing Ocean you will freez just in a minute if you drop ur self in water. But its humans "will" what matters the most. Once I saw a lady cop in discovery channel who survived the bullet in her heart or nearer to her heart just because of her "will power" a "WILL" to Live.
