Am I judgemental?

When I'm out and about, I really like looking at all the random strangers and sort of 'assessing' them. I look at the things they wear, and think about what it says about them as a person, I watch what they do, and how they talk, and see how much information i can figure out about them. And a lot of the time, i'm thinking bad things about them, like 'she's looks so trashy' or 'his face is so weird!' or 'they look so over-cultured!' or 'that person looks really annoying!' and I mentaly poke fun at them. Though, I do keep in mind at the same time that I don't know them, and even if they really are as bad as I think they're probably good-hearted people that do their best in life. Do you think i'm being judgemental, and des anyone else do this much?

I do allot of observing but have stopped with the low level judgment bit. Judging good or bad is on the childish level. You can learn allot about human nature by observing. You wonder what their lives are like by the looks on their faces, are they smiling, frowning, look worried, angry. It's humbling too when you see the humanness in it. It's a good skill to have if you can find a use for it.

I don't really poke fun at people in my head, but I do watch people and asess them. Sherlock Holmes did the same thing, it is slightly judgemental..but not too much so to be truly bad. In fact it could prove to be a lovely skill if you get good at it. I'm semi-good at learning people from their clothes, things they carry, say, how they move, etc..it is a rather fun thing to do in any case, and the more you do it, the better you get ^_^
