I love my husband, I really do... But sometimes I feel like I am living with my best friend... you know what I mean... Romance gone, everyday life takes over! My dearest is not the best in presents or anything, he sometimes forgets to buy me flowers for my birthday - I don't mind, but he does ;-) So here I am this week, thinking how life can be nice but not exciting, stable, but not that inspiring... Then my husband, who works as a self employed trainer in marketing, sales, communication and HRM, informs me that he turned down a training offer of approx. $4000, because one of the training dates is on an evening when I need him very much by my side: the farewell dinner from my old employer, since I am retiring for health reasons. I know it's is going to be emotional, both from my side and my collegues's side, so I asked him to come along for support... Heturned down this assignment, just to be by my side that evening....! Isn't that GRAND?!? Isn't that what LOVE is ALL ABOUT????? Oh my goshhhhhhh....

Reliabilty rocks lol..It's like my hubby who doesn't like to buy me bling but he will go happily down to radio shack to buy me a microphone or anything to do with computers lol..So I improve in my techno skills lol..Bless them, our hubby's may not be the epitomy of romance but they are there when it counts eh? We don't need an admiration society of festive _llsh_tters..we can recite thepoetry..they can play MR rReliables lol!!

That is something to get excited about. Now you will have to be figuring out a way to show him how much he means to you. When you do, don't forget to tell him that it was the least you could do after the wonderful gift he gave you by turning down the job to attend the retirement dinner with you. He needs to know how much you appreciate it and by doing something very loving back in return, it may prime the pump for increasing romantic events in the future. It looks to me as though your retirement years are going to be very grand, indeed.
