Neither Republicans nor Democrats seem to care about illegal immigration

If neither party are willing to defend our national integrity, why should we care if either of them stay in power?
Millions of illegal aliens flaunt our laws every day. Two Border Patrol Agents are sitting in prison just for doing their job, while a drug smuggler enjoys immunity from past and future drug trafficking. Mexican Military and Policemen cross into US territory every day.
Why even call ourselves a nation if all we are going to do when we are invaded is prosecute Americans?

It is my opinion that the United States is currently going to become part of a super continent (i.e. European Union) with Canada and Mexico. The borders will no longer really mean anything. I believe that is why, even though politicians might make lip service to the fact that illegal immigration is a problem, they know what the future is going to hold, and therefore, no real action will take place.

Funny you should point to the EU as an example, since it is the very spike impaling European prosperity. The fact is, any Supercontinental leadership is doomed to fail under the weight of its own bureaucracy.
That's not to say I don't agree with you about the problem, a lot of wrong headed fools actually think that the bigger the bureaucracy the better it runs.

This is a good question.
Why ignore the laws we have and let those who violate them continue to do so?
This doesn't make any sense and is definitely not in our best interests as a nation.
Not only does it make any sense to imprison the Border Patrol for doing their jobs, it also seems that they are now going to have a problem hiring any more, now that everyone knows what to expect.
No other country should ever be allowed to dictate what happens in our borders.

"No other country should ever be allowed to dictate what happens in our borders"
Too true! More than ever I'm tempted to jump ship and tell both major parties to go off themselves. Neither seem to have the guts to actually lead the country.
Piss on 'em both!
