How many of you are worried about the cat food that you have fed your cat in the last month or so? The recall of so many brands in the US and Canada is really scary. I've been on every web site that has any information. For now my cats are healthy and I plan to keep them that way.

I'm not worried for my animals personally because they only eats dry food and will not touch anything else. I am incredibly worried about all of the other pet owners out there who are losing their animals to this inexcusable discusting situation. I think that there is absoulutly no excuse for something like this and my heart goes out to all the pet owners who have been affected.

I've been very upset about the whole thing....and that's an understatement...I've had pets all my life, and right now I have two highly pampered kitties, Pyewacket and Kissy...They are used to and spoiled on Fancy Feast, which isn't one of the pet foods that was listed by Menu as one of the recalled foods--but just how do we know what IS safe---supposedly it's been rat poison connected with the ingredient wheat gluten which supposedly thickens the gravey of moist canned or pouch foods....Now 9-lives has several types of this exact kind of food...and when I read the ingredients on the cans of a few of the Fancy Feast--sure enough was Wheat gluten....Anyway I'm not taking chances and for now will give my cats "people" food and cook up special things for them.

I'm not worried because I'v only always fed my cat Whiskies and Friskas which were thankfully not on the list.
