I clean my cats ears with peroxide and q-tips. I put a small amount of peroxide in her ears, and then let it run into my rag..Then take the q-tip and gently wipe out all of the yuckiness. You may also dip your q-tip in peroxide before cleaning the ears - if you dont feel comfortable pouring it in your cats ear. Use a new side of the Q-tip each time, because as you know sometimes kitty ears can be dirty messes.

I have never cleaned my cats ears, they clean themselves. I just check them once a week for any signs of mites or inflammation that might indicate an infection. If I see anything unusual I take them to the vet.

You do not clean their ears. If for some reason there is an odor there, then they have ear mites, and you need to get to the vet for an rx or they will go deaf.

actually you dont need to clean their ears. they are the ones whose responsible. they can clean their own ears. i have a cat for 10 years already. just bath them.
