Do any of you dress your animal up in clothes?? I know you can buy doggie clothes, but I've found NO cat clothes. My mom is anti-clothes for animals..My sister recently bought my cat daughter a dress for her first birthday(next month.) She wasn't a fan but she looked SOOO cute!!Do any of you dress up your cat or dog?

I would LOVE to dress up any of my 7 kids.. eh i mean cats... but none of them would have it.. the best I can get away is a ribbon around their neck..LOL... even that they would look at me with their sad look..heheh..maybe I could "steal" your bib idea and see if they like it...

I have a lot of different outfits for my chihuahua. She hates it when I dress her up so I just dress her up long enough to take pictures. She always looks so cute in her outfits!

Chihuahua's are cute animals. I think they're probably the "type" of dog that most clothes are made for.

I do dress up my dog. She will stick her head in her sweater in the winter. She freezes in cool weather let alone frigid temps.

My father in law has a shitzu that he dresses in coats during the winter months. It seems to keep her warm while she's outside 'doing her business.'

I remember that when my dog was a bit younger, I was sorry that he would get cold, so I brought him a sweater, and he looked so funny in it. We walked in the streets, and people stare at us. It was so funny, because my dog is quite big, and big dogs don't have to wear clothes.

Animals may have fur but that doesn't mean they never get cold. So it may have "looked funny" but it's your dog and your call. I know last winter my majorly hairy cat slept under a mound of covers every night because she was cold. So maybe "furriness" doesn't matter when it comes to animals.

I'm anti- clothing for animals too, besides it looking absolutely pathetic, it overheats the animals.

While I appreciate your opinion on the subject matter - no one asked you if you thought it was pathetic looking.

I don't dress up my pets. I find the whole concept of dressing up animals a little strange to me. Unless the pet is one of those animals that is smalle, a bit fragile and doesn't have a lot of fur to keep them warm, and only then will I even consider it. And only when they have to go outside.

I agree its a little strange, but they do make pet clothes so apparently a lot of people do it. It was cute and the whole ordeal lasted the three minutes it took to get it on her, snap a picture and take it off. It made a good greeting card.

I have dress my cat with baby clothes once and she looked so cute and had a bib on too. I don't think she liked it too much because she was trying to get it off .
