I see an excellent discussion about Heaven going on. I'm also curious - do you believe in Hell? Or in a hell-like state? If so, what do you believe is, and what's it like?

I don't believe in Hell or Heaven. I think that whatever is other than life on earth, such as the spirit existence, could be called Heaven, but not as it is an opposite to Hell. I don't think Hell exists other than the one we decide to be part of here on earth. The universe is to positive of a creation to have a hell. The universe is also a violent place, but that is part of its nature. Like the earth has times of violence in nature which is only part of its defined existence. What could possibly be the purpose of Hell? What would God or the Creator gain by subjecting a soul to a place like Hell? It makes no sense in the spirit world. But man always enjoys creating divergences, such as Hell, because he loves violence more than love. So do most religions because they are always fighting each other for supremecy.

Since I believe in Heaven, and my belief came from the Bible, the word of God, I have to believe also in Hell because the same book that tells me about Heaven tells me about Hell. Hell is a place that was constructed for the devil and his angels, but, unfortunately, anyone whose name is not found written in the Book of Life, will be cast into the Lake of Fire along with the devil and his angels. That is one place I don't intend to be.

I believe just what the Bible teaches on heaven and hell, Glexnov, that there is a heaven for the righteous; those who accept Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. And there is a hell meant for Satan and his angels and demons. But because of mans' refusal to accept Jesus, man will go to this actual hell. And at the Judgement Day man, along with Satan will be thrown in the Lake Of Fire. The unrighteous man, that is. Meaning both man and woman.

I actually not sure if I believe in Hell or not. But, I will say that I have given this some thought. Let's say, for the sake of argument, that hell does in fact exist. Logically, it would have to be different for everyone, same with heaven. What one person considers perfection, another would consider horror, and vice versa. For instance, I am scared of/hate spiders. But, I have no problem at all with snakes, I rather enjoy them. So, a hell filled with snakes (slithering all over me) wouldn't bother me in the least. But, I'll bet that there are some people that would find that a truly horrible experience, they might describe it as a hellish one even.
