If you had a DELETE button in your life...

If only we were like computers, it would be very easy to erase all the bad and pinful memories in our lives simply by clicking DELETE button.
But, if i really had that button in my life, i wouldnt want to delete any of my memories. I will live with my memories -even if it hurts- coz that where my lessons come from. I learn from past mistakes so as not to repeat the same mistakes in the future.
If you had a delete button in your life, what would you do? Would you delete some data forever?

No, i wouldnt delete any part of of my life. Turn back time and rechange it I will but never to delete it because those decisions that i made made my lie at the moment. If ill go and erase some, my life today wont be complete. my past is the one directing me for the future.

I agree with you that deleting something could change the course of your life and your memories, a little scary. However, if I could delete something like maybe my father's illness, that would be cool. This is an interesting question. I like it ! Thanks !

Yepp, it would be really nice to delete diseases from our lives. But again...we are no God. Hehe... so lucky that God didnt give us delete button

There are some things in my life in ways I would Love to be able to have a Delete button for, and remove some of the memories of my past from, but then if I could really Truly do this, then where would my life be? Yes, I came from an Abusive childhood with a very discossiative family, and some of my memories of my early adult life are not the best either, I would not trade what I have now for any of this. I feel it is up to me to make the Best from what I have now, and move forward and my future is what I make it.

Wow, that is one of my greatest wish ever- To have either amnesia or a delete button in my life… I guess I'm a person full of many regrets in my life. Should I have a delete button, I would just delete 1 person whom I have crossed paths with in this life. Yes he did hurt me a lot; he caused 70% of all the pain I have experienced in my entire life. He’s really not a bad person, but what he did to me; I would say that dying is much better. He really did hurt me a lot. And up to know i'm still not over him. I still haven't forgiven him and it makes me miserable. Especially because he’s having the time of his life now. And he acts as if he did nothing to ruin me. I know no one can ruin me unless I give them consent to do so but at that time, he had all of me- and instead of taking care of it- he just abused it and crushed it after.
In situations such as these- a delete button will come in handy- at least I can move on with my life and live it the way I'm was supposed to.

sorry to hear that. I dunno your life, but for me.. its very difficult to forget someone that has been an important part of my life though he has been the mojor cause of my pain. But, forgiving is very cool. WHen i forgive him, everything just keeps getting better in my life. Forgiving is one of the most difficult things to do and it needs such a Looooonnnggg time.
You may have heard this, but i'll just say it again. Maybe you can take a look at the bright side. Without him, you wouldnt be who you are today.
