enay and dido who is better?

I prefer Enya. These 2 singers are really in 2 different catagories. Enya to me is more celtic, she has a very soothing voice. I can listen to her all day. Dido is not really my cup of tea. I liked one of her songs but that was it. She just doesn't appeal to me as a singer. The way Enya sings is very moving.

well i don't think you can compare to singers from different type of music.. both of them are very good at the music they are in to ...

They both have beautiful voices but I think Enya is a more trained performer...She use to be a part of a group called Clannad which is also very good...if you like Celtic music....Loreena Mckinnett is also very talented to and her music is along the same lines.. Dido is more modern and youthful and her lyrics are more about relationships that young people can relate to. I guess is all depends on what you like!! Mithrae :o)

I prefer Enya over Dido but they are both great in different ways. :)

as far as i know they aren't even in the same category of music, but if they where id have to go with enya, her voice is way more mature and she a much better vocal range. personally id ask who's better, enya or Sarah brightman. actually i think i will do that.

hello,wanchope everyone has his thought,but it seems there are more people who love enya than dido.as the queen of the NEW AGE, enya's songs are belief to me.i can listen to her songs all the days,they make us feel quiet.i have loved her songs for about seven years,especially THE CELTS and BOOK OF DAYS!

I prefer Enya. She's got a better range and more capable to do international music than Dido. Dido has a wonderful voice, but Enya can soothe and relax you in seconds. But again its according to what you like in music.
