What keeps you hooked with CSI: New York?

Being the third CSI series (Las Vegas first then Miami), we loyal CSI fans have watched a lot of episodes of various plots. We feel that we've seen them all --- from the ordinary murder to really sick/gross psychotic stuff (LOL) But what still keeps you hooked with CSI: New York? Personally, I like Gary Sinise and in my opinion, the series takes on highly unconventional plots/themes. "Montana girl" sometimes irks me though.

I am a huge CSI fan. I too love Gary Sinise in this role, he is perfect for it. I think this particular NY series seems a bit different in several ways. The plots are sometimes more bizarre than the other two. Take the cockroach angle on this weeks show. I also like how the team works together, yet seems to pull apart from one another. It makes you want to see where and which direction it will go. I agree that is unconventional and diverse in it's plots and themes. It is a breed in it's own. "Montana" will come into her own, I think. She can be annoying, but I think she is just trying to gather her barings.

Hi creativedreamweaver! So glad to find another CSI fan here! Thank you for responding to this thread. I must admit, I've only started becoming fond of Gary Sinise after Forrest Gump...wouldn't you agree that he did an amazing job in that film? He's really a perfect choice for the CSI New York series. I hope "Montana girl" can truly come into her own soon, find that niche.

Yes, that is the first time I ever recall seeing him. "Captn' Dan" was a terrific role for him. His acting was outstanding. But the movie was outstanding as well.

Im an avid CSI fan too. I like CSI NY better than Miami because of the cinematography and the colors..the actors are really good, and the plots are superb.
Oh, and one more thing, i think Eddie Cahill is really hot. :)

i do like csi new york,i find the way they catch the killers and the evidence really intersting
would not kick nick stokes out of bed heehee

it would definitely be the plots and the twists. every episode has a great story and yeah, CSI is very informative too
