minnow? dosent seem they deserve to be called that way. excellent fielding and good bowling they deserve a lot of respect. average batting perfomance may not take them to great heights, but the way they have played is commendable. they deserve the place theyve got in the super 8's and i am sure i will be a strong supporter for that upcomming team.i suppose any impartial pure cricket fan would praise thier commitment on the field.whats ur opinion guys and girls. support ireland?

ya ireland is a good an upcoming cricket team.players of ireland are quick n athletic n a good batting side bt it still hs to travell a long way.it hs to raise its level to the teams like australia srilanka n other good team except india.cuz india is no more a good team

Yes, instead of bemoaning the failed giants of the game, give Ireland the credit for a great win and an excellent tournament. They have made many admirers with the way they play their cricket and success should be applauded.
They may not be a force in the game yet, but with encouragement the game will grow in Ireland. Support a minnow team to support the growth of cricket around the world.
