I don't like anything that's too loud. PERIOD. My mother doesn't like noise so everyone got used to having a not so noisy household. If you turn on the TV on a high volume even my 8-year old daughter will scold you hehehe

If I am watching a movie or a television show where the sound might be something to behold, then I will want the volume up a little higher. It also has to do with the fact that our television is in the bedroom and we watch TV while laying in bed, so it might have to be a bit louder because of that. When we watch sporting events, same thing. I like to have the loud sound, it allows me to hear and feel the crowd. I really get into it, like we are at the stadium. Sometimes, it's better the T.V. stay off, though...

I love a loud TV in fact I have a surround sound system in both my bedroom and family room. I like to feel like I'm in the movie not just watching it however when it comes to basic shows like the stuff my wife watches on MTV I can't stand that being loud at all.
