Why can't we make world a Peaceful place to live ?

We are all well aware of the problems the world is facing. today's world, is full of dis-harmony. There is wars going on. every one is going on through agony. We dn't feel secure anymore. Not secure in regard of our lives, our property, trust, anything. why is that so? why have we made life more miserable for ourselves. Why is there so much hatred everywhere. Why can't we just make this planet a peaceful place 2 live, where everyone respecs n cares for others life and feelings. Please no petty arguing, personal, religious, racist & nationalistic attacks.
