How do i BLOCK someone?

How do i block users on here? i have come accross some that not only are abusive, but post offensive things to me and i would rather not have them contact me. Is there any way i can block them? Someone said something about this before...

You can block them from sending you messages by deleting him as a friend, BUT you can't do anything to stop them responding to your discussions unfortunately, the only way to deal with them is to report them. I'm sorry this is happening to you, and it's a great shame to hear.

Thank you all for your responses. i know they can't send messages if not on friends list...but there are certain people i don't even want in my discussions simply because i find what they have to say to be isgusting and offensive. i think myLot needs some reform...

Of course. It is actually very easy. Once you delete him from your friend list, he cannot message you. It's just that simple. ;)

I'm not sure if you can completely block them. If you remove them from your friends list they cannot IM you. I'm sorry I cannot be of any more help.
