How to beat Zodiark?

I didn't even reach Zodiark because the monsters are so tough. I am already at level 75 but the monsters are just too tough. And I don't want to proceed because there are no save points there, I might level up and not be able to save. What's the fastest way to beat him?

I never heard of Final Fantasy 7 having a monster named Zodiark. Which part of the game is that on?
