Ok, i'm sure everyone knows their mcdonald's.
Well, before i ask you this question, I'll have some explaining to do.
Recently i watched pulp fiction and john travolta has just returned for Amsterdam and it's his observation that in Mcdonalds in USA, what is known as a Quarter pounder with cheese is called a MCroyale in Amsterdam.
The reason is that countries who go by the metric system usually don't use pound references. The sandwich is the same thing, but just called different names, of course, i'm sure it still tastes great, no matter what it's called, you know ' a rose by any other name....blah, blah, blah'.
So i wanted to check what it's called here in Bahrain, i'm sure we follow the metric system too. To my surprise, we had both, they looked the same in the picture, but for some reason we seem to have both those sandwiches here, even though the only thing different about them is their names.
So which sandwich do you have at Mcdonalds in your country?
Is it called the quarterpounder or the mcroyale?

It is just a quarter pounder here...although it is not my favourite. I tend not to eat in McDonald's that often (I saw many bad things they do behind the scenes) but when I go in there I'll usually ask for either a Spicy Beanburger/Vegetable Deluxe or A McChicken Sandwich with Cheese.

I agree with you totally...for the most part what you do not know will not harm you.

aw thanks, all these compliments about my dancing man, well, at least i think he's dancing but i like your explanation about the holding in until he finds a bathroom more interesting, and to think i was actually going to change him for a different avatar.
But that was only because one of my friends mentioned that he had seen a mature version of this avatar elsewhere, but i don't see why that should make me say goodbye to my sweet dancing man.
See for yourself, the profanity

It's called a quarter pounder in Singapore. It is not too popular however since beef is not the meat more heavily consumed here. The fish or chicken burgers typically fly off the oil baskets faster. :P
