I think Forex is best, coz you have 12 - 15 major currecy piar to moniter, you also have lots of ebooks, tricks to trade, you will find lots of information everyday, coz all world follow same forex rate/rule, but in stock each country has their own exchange, own rule, their own system and lots of national thing affect national stock market (election), but forex trading has less affect.

I prefer an investment in stocks,Forex doen't create value ,stocks created value and on the long term this made a great advantage.
I'm not really a trader,when you make a lot of trades,you make lots of costs.
