I do wash my clothes especially when I'm not that busy with things.. And I would prefer doing it that way, because I'm used to it and there's not much work needed for it to get done.. :)

I prefer to iron because most of the time when I do laundry I take my clothes out of the dryer right away and they do not need to be ironed. So I would prefer to iron (since I don't usually have to iron my clothes)

I prefer ironing the clothes. I always hated washing the clothes by hand and I grew up with all the blisters on my hands. I started doing my family's laundry when I was 8 years old just to help out my parents and being the eldest and all. I vowed at that time that when I have enough money, I would never do the laundry myself and will just pay people to do it for me. Funny as it seem, I still do the laundry today because I don't trust other people to wash my clothes and might destroy the fabric.

I never iron as I buy clothes that don't need ironing. Washing the clothes doesn't bother me. However, If I had my choice I wouldn't do either. LOL

I don't like doing either one actually. If I had to choose though I would say I'd rather do the laundry. I don't iron all that well and I always seem to fall behind on what needs to be done.

Well,I definitely prefer washing clothes to ironing them. I do not handwash the clothes ; I simply put them into the washing machine and it does the job for me. Ironing on the other hand is a hot and dreadful job, especially ironing my hubby's shirts.

Neither. But if an answer is required, then i say washing my clothes. my back aches when i do ironing and i feel like it takes forever just to iron one clothing. Another cons of ironing is when I iron clothes i feel like i am being burn because of the heat of the iron.

If i had my way I wouldnt do any cleaning around the house. But it has to be done. I do the laundry among many other stuff. I used to iron all the clothes but after having my baby and trying to work etc. I just started putting the clothes away after they are dry. Most of the creases fall out of them, if not they get ironed when needed.

laundry for you is easier as you have washing machines to help but here in our place, not all people has it, thast is why i prefer the ironing. thank you.

If I have a choice, I choose neither. I do wash my own clothes, but I do not do the ironing. Washing is one time, done and that's it. I feel ironing is a lot more effort and takes considerable time, especially when I have high expectations to do a good job.

oh, you mean you wanted your clothes perfectly ironed? Oh, that was too much effort as clothes easily get crumpled. thanks.

I would much rather do the washing, putting it out on the line and pulling it back in rather than doing the ironing, I hate ironing and I have never been any good at it!!! I actually avoid ironing as much as possible I would rather just fold things up and put them away if I can

I washing clothes because it only takes a few minuets and while they are going at it you have time to get other things done, where as ironing takes twice as long.

I like doing both, as long as it's not a big load. However, if it's very warm I hate ironing. Since it's just two of us, I use the washing machine only for towels, trousers and bed sheets because it consumes too much electricity and water, and it takes so much time to finish. So all the rest I handwash, but I soak the clothes for at least an hour first, then it's quite easy since most of the dirt are off.

I rather iron my clothes too. doing the laundry is too much work. either that or i'm too lazy to get through the process hehe. one reason why i prefer ironing my clothes is coz i get to watch tv at the same time :P

I like ironing clothes! but it takes more time and is likely to make you more sweaty than laundry. which is just a matter of dumping clothes into the machine. unless you handwash, then it's much more arduous. I think ironing is therapeutic. i like watching all the clothes come out smooth and straight. washing makes it smell nice and clean. but ironing is more fulfilling to me.

if you want to look neat i would do the ironing. But if your cloth is dirty how can you do ironing if you probably not going to wear it. how does ironing substitutes the laundry, the cloth doesn't get cleaner from ironing.
