Whom do you prefer to be your friend?

i would prefer the frank kind of friend. My best friends are all that way. Though it hurts to hear things that you dont want to hear from your friends, i still value and appreciate it. One time my best friend and I fought and she told me point blank that she didn't need another fight or issue coming from me because she have many problems. Though i was hurt inside, i decided to just finish the argument and the drama and give her some slck. After all, she really did have problems more than our rambling.

I would very much prefer friends who are frank and tell me the truth about myself or other issues with the intention of letting me improve myself and getting a clearer picture of whatever issues we are discussing. I value an honest and loyal friend.

I like supportive, honest friends. I guess that's why I only have a few friends because you can rarely find that combination. They are more likely not to say anything I have found. I don't want a friend to be too worried about hurting my feelings or not be hinest with me. I think that there are ways to be honest and nice at the same time. Even though the truth is hard to hear sometimes I would rather hear the truth. I am more likely to value the friendship more if I feel the person will be honest with me.

I have friends that fit under both categories and I love them all. But to tell you the truth, I think honesty is the best policy. I appreciate a person who shares their opinion openly and honestly. It goes along the lines of tough love. And instead of taking offense by what they say, we should take it into consideration and think, what made them say what they said. Just my opinion though.

I would want my friends to be able to tell me the truth in everything, even if it did cause some hurt feelings. I would much rather a friend tell me than find out about it from someone else that I don't really know.

I always try to keep friends who are honest and frank with me. As my old folks use to say Honesty is the best policy. Besides friends who are silent most of them burns you down.

I would want the frank ones because Its alway better to hear the truth than it coverd up.

i have 1 friend that ive known since we were kids i really dont know why im still friends with her because mostly what she has to say about me and my life is negative we speak on the phone now and agin but i refuse to go see her i dont ever stand up to her and tell her shes not a very good friend because i wouldnt want to hurt her feelings i think i stay friends with her because ive known her so long and cant seem to get rid of her lol
