wow..the longevity of this band is just amazing. they must have logged in more road hours than anybody. i had heard also mick has a pacemaker now-bless his heart,he's still going.maybe this time i'll get to see them, though it depends on price. your thoughts? also, what do you think of the price of big ticket tours nowadays?

Poor Mick. I had no idea he had had a pacemaker implanted. he Stones will be playing at Slane this summer but the tickets are going for a fortune so I won't be attending. I don't think they should be sold for those prices. Those guys have plenty of dosh!

a lot of bands have it really high now, unfortunetly. especially the ones with VIP packages, like ozzy,kiss,u2 and aerosmith.

The last time I saw the Stones was the late 80's Last time I bought tickets was even later than that. I'm not fattening their wallets unless I buy their CD's. To see Prince in Vegas costs from $125 to $350. That's nuts I say. Thanks for this topic also. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!

Wow! This brings back memories. Actually I think I would quite like to see the Rolling Stones in concert again. I think my husband would too, but would he dance? Hmm...
