from what i've seen it seems that there are far to many kids eating crap for breakfast. by crap i mean...ssugary cereal, poptarts, etc... my kids eat eggs and bacon almost every morning and although its a pain to cook it every day in limited time, its so worth it. They do it the crap sometimes for snacks but thats it. how do feel about this

my son eats grits practically every morning or oatmeal. my girls will have eggs and toast, (the eggs can be anything from scrambled to omelet to fried or even hardboiled served hot) on Sundays it is not unusual to have pancakes, waffles, or french toast instead. They do eat cereals but it is usually mid day snack or late night snack. Cherrios is the unanimous favorite (especially now they have it with the dried fruit in it) my husband most always just grabs a bowl of cornflakes - even if I make him a nice breakfast, he will still grab that bowl of cornflakes afterwards.

my kids love peanut butter on their bread or butter with sugar on their bread.i alternate it with oatmeal or eggs and hotdogs.they love cereals-specifically coco crunch.:) they sometimes help me in making pancakes or waffle.they would grate cheese or put some bacon on their waffle.

It depends...some mornings I make them breakfast like bacon and eggs or pancakes or breakfast casserole or french toast etc etc and other mornings they just have cereal or waffles etc....It varies without a doubt...

oh yes, we all also like to have a bagel on occasion - usually with cream cheese - sometimes with sliced turkey, roast beef, or ham.

In the morning, I feed my 19 month old daughter a bowl of oatmeal, milk, and a bananna. She also eats what I eat for breakfast, usually a sausage biscuit, grits, eggs, or turkey bacon with a glass of orange juice. I think kids shouldn't be feed sugary foods for breakfast, especially since that is the most important meal of the day.

My daugher is 9 months old & she usually has toast for breakfast after her bottle. I vary what i put on there but she loves her toast - as the weather cools i'll also be giving her porridge coz it's always good to have when it's cool - maybe with some fruit in it might be good! We also have eggs sometimes - but i don't think i'd be giving her bacon too often - there's just too much fat on it & i HATE the smell but if my hubby was to cook it, then it would be ok for an every so often thing!
