When was the last time you went out of your country?

I've never been out of the country. I applied for a passport before because I had plans to work abroad. And now my passport has already expired and I still have not left the country. My wife wouldn't let me leave the country without her. She said that if I'm going to work abroad, I have to bring them along with me.

The last time i went out of the country (philippines) was last year around this time, March-April, when i was sent by my company to join a convention in the US. It was an experience for me as it was my first time to travel outside the country post 9/11, and airport security was just so strict and tight in every airport that i passed through. As in you had to remove your shoes, remove your belt...and mind you, this was not at all fun when the next flight you are catching is already boarding and youre at the other end of the terminal. Grabe! But overall the trip, except for the incidents i mentioned, was fun. I got to meet up with my friends from med school who are already in the US.

The last time I left my country (USA) was last Sept. I went to Italy. The year before that I went to Peru. I love to go new places! I plan to go to Germany next fall.

I think the last time I was out of the country (the United States in my case) was when I went to Canada (Medicine Hat, Alberta, specifically) to watch my brother play basketball; he played college basketball at Medicine Hat College. Of course, living in the United States, visiting Canada barely counts as traveling "out of the country." I did go to Mexico once, just to the border town of Juarez, Mexico, just over the border from El Paso, Texas. I definitely want to go to Europe someday and Australia.

The last time I was out of the county, was about 8-10 years ago when I went to Germany. It was beautiful. We also went to see the Swiss Alps and we went to France.
