I once asked my religious education teacher if the priest has sinned when he gets married. My teacher answered me that marriage is NEVER a SIN even for priest. Marriage is a sacrament and will never become a sin. The priest sinned against his VOWS of celibacy when he decideds to get married. Many Catholics see priests and marriage as a sin when in fact the priest has sinned in a sense that he did not HONOR his VOWS. Once a priest will always be a priest and if a priest dishonored his vows, he just could no longer practice as a priest. The church believes that the priest could not serve both his family and the church and if he choose marriage, then he could no longer serve the church.
