Emergency rooms ..hurry up and wait!!

What do you think about the horrible situation with ER today...filled up
with mostly non-emergency situations...people with no insurance and mostly illegal aliens, clogging the system with some little kid with a runny nose..or equally ridiculous scenario...If I sound pissed ..I AM!!! Last time I had the misfortune to be in an ER...I was there over 6 hours before I was ever admitted to a hospital room,,,and this was with a cardiac event...I'm sorry...but this just isn't right....Get with the program Bush...the picnic is over...close the borders and send these freeloaders packing!!!!

Okay, So i'm Canadian, but hell, the same damn thing is happening here, their even sending women who are pregnant and due to the states to have their babies because there's no room here!!!
My husband had a sinkable episode not long ago (Blood pressure goes too low sending you into convulsions and what looks like a heart attack)
He got in fast yes, but they did screw didly *&^% for him...
Here he is hurling and everything and the doc looks at me even though there's blood everywhere saying go get that bowl and hold it in front of him, Not to mension this was after about 10 minutes of me screaming at the doctors to get their butts in there!!!
And then me, I have severe athsma, which caused a whole in my bronkial tube a while back, i went into the hospital, i was blue already, my body was heaving as well as my stomach trying to breathe and they still made me sit there for a few hours, i took my inhaler so many times it emptied out in that few hours, completely, and i passed out a couple of times...
This is just sick, and yeah, i blame it on them having the borders open to these idiots that they put before us too.

Your friends do consider you liberal, cause they have listened to you on these matters for too many years, sure there are lines at the emergency room, but have you ever thought that we are short handed with the proper medical personnel to handle this load, perhaps we should pursuade our children to become more medical minded instead of the government or executive level. Perhaps our society should work more towards correcting the problems at the hospitals and not blaming those that have no control over it. Yes, PondaDog you are liberal, you need to think of all sides of the coin before giving it up.

I am so far from liberal that I am but a speck on the horizon,,
you read the comment wrong..I said "my liberal friends"..they are the ones I dont agree with...that the borders should be open..welcome everyone here that can run, jump, or crawl...come to USA....Give citzenship to all the illegals that are here now...I could go on, but this is not a venue to argue on...ciao

I agree with you 100%. I am in such a mood today with this country and system, I don't even want to get started. It stinks as much as Bush does.
