Now that the weather is getting warmer I want to start getting toned up. My baby is just 4 months old so it's been awhile and I know I need to ease back into it. I'm also breastfeeding and am happy with my weight so I'm not looking for something with a high calorie burn. I also don't have tons of free time. What are some simple at home exercises I can do in short amounts of time to firm up? I don't have any nor do I want to buy any special equipment. I love any tips and ideas you all have!

foxy fire, i have just begun exersizing more strictly than I used to, but I still have about 10-15 pounds I would like to lose, and I need to tone up. I do 20 minutes every other day of calestenics and use weights with it. If this is not what you are looking for, there are easy ways you can add exersize to your every day routine. While I am watching my favorite show, I will stretch during the show, and do jumping jacks or jump rope during the commercials. I also, will do calf raises, leg lifts and cruches intermittedly throughout the day. I think the best course of action, is to pick something, and do it often and consistently. I found that when my son was 7 months or so, We started going for bike rides every day, and taht was great. I got him a helmet and one of those seats. I loved it, and so did he. We are actually looking into buying a bike trailer now, so I can do it with both of my boys in tow.

Walking or jogging are both great exercise and I will bet your baby would love to come along. Jumping rope is great to get your heart pumping. I used to do it before I hurt my knee, because getting some aerobic exercise at least a couple of times a week is good for you. Sit-ups or side bends can help to tone your abs.
Some sort of weight training is also good. My boys use one-gallon jugs filled with water for weights. These weight around each 7-8 pounds each, and do not cost anything. They started out lifting their weights just a few times each day and built it up more gradually.
Once the weather warms up a bit more, or if you have access to a pool, swimming is another great exercise. I plan to do a lot of swimming this summer.
