just list the movies and the games

-crisis core
-dirge of cerberus
-advent children
-last order
compare it with FFX or FFVIII and you will see the diffrent

the reason why it continued for so long is the fans. im a fan of FF7 so ofcourse i dont want it to end. theres a rumor that FF7 is going to be re-launched for PS3 with updated graphics. and also FF7 almost created a new genre of game by itself. thats how good it was when it came out

yeah, i would like to get one for myself but the price is just too steep. i have a pretty good PC setup and hoping that they will also release it on PC so i can play it.

yeah i hope so too,,,but i don't think the pc version could not match the same graphical quality of the ps3 yet..
men,i have to tell you i went to this electronic exhibit last 2 weeks,,
i have seen for the first time the power of the ps3..
its just unbelievable..
it blew my mind..
i just cant wait to see a final fantasy ps3 game.

Final Fantasy VII was one of those stories they composed that never ended if they twisted the right things around. For example, some information left out at the end of VII was used to make Advent Children. And what we didn't know about in Advent Children, was told in Dirge of Cerberus in different ways.
Its all dependent on how creators twist it cause if they wan't, it would never end.

They make so many becuase it is the best in the series. Maybe not the best graphics but definatly the best story and best characters.
And i cant wait for Crisis core to come out :D

Personally I don't like the new FF7 spinoff games, they seem to me to be pure fanservice. Dirge of Cerberus' controls and system is pretty awkward.
I'm also not too keen on the narrative direction and art style that the FF7 series is taking. FF7 is indeed arguably the best game in the series, but I think Square is exploiting its fans a little bit.
But I can't really blame them. They're still a corporation after all, and they're out to make a profit. Perhaps this is their way of recovering from their $28 billion loss they incurred from 'The Spirits Within'.
