I mean STOP dissing him people! He is not the best out there but he is definitely NOT a bad singer! American Idol isn't all about singing, its about the Idol for the Americans, and Sanjaya has become the idol for teens throughout the nation. The poor kid is so shy and humble and it's not his fault he's out there, So STOP hating him, hate the people who have voted for him! He DESERVES to be out there because he was voted to be there!
I am all for him! Go Sanjaya!!!:)

It has been reported that people are voting for him for the wrong reason. I don't think it's that people hate him. They just think it's wrong that people are keeping him on the show because they think he's the worst signer left. It seems unfair to the better signers that deserve another chance.

WOW! So much frustration over one gawky guy! lol Okay I admit the situation here is worse than it was when Hicks was chosen. I read that article too, that people in India are screwing up the votes...but is there any kinda proof they are doin that? But still that wouldnt even count for half of his votes.
But have you been to this site Votefortheworst? That Stern guy is promoting em to vote for Sanjay. They are still keeping him standing on AI and not to forget his teenybopper fans, tehy simply adore him and are voting for all wrong reasons which might make him the winner. And poor Simon, he might just flip with excitement if it does happen! and how he has been behaving with the participants some people might just wanna see him flip!lol

Taylor Hicks belted out his vocals, had soul (like that wasn't obvious) and got the audience revved up.
Sanjaya doesn't do any of the three. I posted a discussion about an article I read about call centers in India voting for him, which is unfair. Not only that but Howard Stern's ploy to get America to vote for him. It sickens me b/c I'm a Stern fan and it's just one of his tactics.
Then there's the crazed fan in the front row. Never in AI history has this been done before. I think the producers are showing America, "See? This is why Sanjaya is still in! The little girls love him!" But if you gather the Stern, the young teen and call center voters it's not a shock to see Sanjaya making it.
Even Simon said that he won't be on AI next year if Sanjaya makes it.

It's not alone votefortheworst thing that counts, there ARE his fans that voted for him... but poor guy..do you think he can handle the torment anymore?..it's better he gets down...people hate him so much! But now you see since Simon said he'll quit if Sanjaya wins, some people are ready to vote for Sanjaya just to see that happen. lol

He seems like a very nice person and kid but is lacking in experience and stage presence. He may be a good singer in the future with some practice and some singing lessons. He definitely does not deserve to be there though. This is a singing competition and not a popularity contest or a contest based on looks. People are not voting for his singing, which is sad and hope they change the rules next season. The judges should be the ones choosing who stays or goes because the people that got voted off previously are much better singers and better entertainers than he is right now.

He was kinda good in the begining, but its all downhill since then, especially his last perfomance, but I hope he gets vocals right next time, because he ain't that bad a singer! But I know for a fact that people are voting him for all the wrong reasons..lol
