I'm not sure what you mean by seeing your friends and they don't greet you. Do they ignore you? Do they pretend youre not there? THEN I would feel neglected and think they might be angry at you and ask them about it, but if they talk to you and hang out with you but just don't hug or kiss you hello, then you might be a tad oversensitive. I'm oversensitive too, so I can see it in others.

First off, It's utterly a shame that you actually have friends like this. Friends don't treat other friends like this,. at least where I come from. If you really refer to people like this to be your friends,.. then I hate to say it. They're not good friends. That's not what friendship is, true friends actually hang out with each other that's the uniqueness of friendship.

No, you are not neglected. That's just how people behave nowadays. You see him and he sees you. Good if either of you flashes a smile, give a wave of a hand and a light nod. Others no longer do this. I wonder why this has evolved in this manner.
The movies we see, show people greeting each other in so many ways if they see somebody around whom they know. I suggest that you do the first move - wave a hand and flash a smile whenever you see a friend rather that wait for them to do it first. If they don't acknowledge, just keep on doing it. You will find, that the day will come when they will respond same way.

it is normal that we sometimes feel neglected by people close to us. however, if that is some kind of a persistent feeling of neglect that you're having, maybe it's time that you look inside you -- maybe you've been too busy thinking about yourself more. that's how insecurities build up.

Sometimes it's all in the mind, why don't you try to greet them first and treat them warmly? instead of moaning about their cold treatment.

Sometimes I feel neglected by friends and acquaintances who do not greet me when they see me, but you have to try to give your friends the benefit of the doubt and really believe that they mean you well and don't want to neglect you on purpose. If you find they do, you need to get better friends.

Well, this kind of a thing has happenes quite a lot to people. And i personally feel that to cure this you just have to change yourself a bit. You have to make your presence felt among your group. So, that your so called friends who dont greet you start recognizing you.
