Summer Time?

Well, it's officially British Summer Time. The clocks went forward one hour during the night, so here we are... lighter evenings, longer days, shorter nights. A time for evening wanders across the fields and through the woods, to the millponds where I spend many a reflective hour, then have a beer in the pub, on the way back.
Sometimes, I'll go and sit on a bench under an Oak Tree in the churchyard. I like to sit outside the west entrance to the church sometimes, as the church is on a hill and you get a brilliant view of the sunset in the West, with a silhouette of trees, as the red orb sinks behind them. Hot air balloons will be adorning the sky, normally three or four at a time, at different heights... wonderful.
On lazy days, I will rise in the morning, take a bath and breakfast, then grab my current book and head off into the garden, to lie on my sun lounger, shaded by a parasol, reading my book. That's my way of relaxing, with only the sound of the birds and sheep, and distant squeals of childhood delight, occasionally.
I'm quite looking forward to all this but the weather needs to warm a little first. It seems milder today and the sun is shining brightly, so we shouldn't have long to wait.
Dreaming again... how about you, are you looking forward to Summer and what will you do during those warm, sultry months?

Me too. If the evening is warm enough, I sit out back on my lounger and watch the sun go down. Then often, I will stay out and watch the moon and stars come up. I love the peace and tranquility of it all. Even better, if you have somebody to share it with, huh?
Brightest Blessings my dear friend... love and hugs. x

Though here in India, New Delhi Summers get damn hot man. You bet you will sweat if you lie outside during day time.
But actually I must say that I like summers just because of the longer evenings and the early mornings. Roaming around in those breasy hot evenings makes me feel so good and getting up early in the morning to watch the morning sun and to step on the last dew makes me feel so fresh. Man I love the weather, may it be hot but still I love it as I get the longest vacations of 2 moths at summers. I just love roaming around with my friends or my girlfriend and going to movies or just lazing around at home in front of the t.v. and the air conditioner. Also going jogging in the morning is quite healthy.
I love most of the seasons but I love summers most because of those yellow juicy big mangoes and all those other fruits... HMMMMM!!! I love them.
Any ways C ya Around
Take Care
May GOD Bless YOU

I have to go to work, but in the evenings, we eat outside under the gazebo. The girls love to be outside and it's quite enjoyable to have an evening barbecue outside.
At the weekends, it's nice to go to the beach or for woodland or country walks during the daytime. We like to go to Tilgate Park and walk around the lakes and gardens there. There's plenty of things for the kids to do and they really enjoy the play park and animal corner.
It's a little warmer today but needs to get quite a bit warmer before we start taking our meals outside.
