this always annoys me everytime i go to a resto and eat. then somebody would smoke. it really removes my appetite. the least i could do however, is just to finish what i have ordered and not to go back on that place again. well, i think i also like to know what would you do if you are eating and somebody would smoke near you or a person next to your table smokes and of course you get to smell the smoke of his/her cigar. will this affect you in any way?

Thank you, thank you state legislature. It is now illegal to smoke in public in the state I live in.
Back when it was, probably the meanest thing I did was back when I worked at the mall. They had eleven marked off sections in the eating area only one of which was designated as non-smoking. With ten sections to sit in this lady plops down and lights up, ruining my appetite and my meal. So I started to whistle, loudly!. When she gave me a funny look, I said "Sorry ma'am, the no whistling section is three ovcer, this one is no-smoking.: She got the message and moved.

I don't smoke and I really hate those person who does in public place such as restaurant's and other public places.
We have law here in our country prohibiting smoking in public places it is just that some smokers doesn't have morals and respect with other individual's who will be affected by the 2nd smoke they just cause.

Smoking in public places like restaurants and similar public places has already been banned in Scotland and soon will be in the rest of the UK. I can only say "About time!" I have always hated having to go into a place only to find it full of acrid smoke, which apart from the health issue, is simply unpleasant for any non - smoker.
