Going to work monday to friday is sometimes stressful especially when there's load of work in office and same time doing house chores. When friday comes, I say TGIF, and I like staying in bed longer on saturdays and sundays and holidays. I like to treat myself with some rest in the morning, then doing house chores and other activities the rest of the day.

It really depends on what it is I am suppose to be doing. I tend to relax more on these days as I figure that is what they are for, right? However, let my hunny mention a mini-getaway or a night on the town and I have more energy than a group of 5 year olds...LOL....I think our body just knows when it needs a break and I for one believe in listening to it !!

Sometimes i tend to become lazy on sundays (because i have work on saturday, sunday is my only rest day) and wanted to spend the whole afternoon just lying down and watching movies but i always make myself busy in cleaning the house, cooking, gardening, play with my kids.

I'm normally lazy during the holidays. For some reason I have a tough time sleeping late on the weekends. I guess its due to the fact that I wake up and go to work during the week.

Good thing I searched first before trying to start a discussion like this Yeah, I often get down on activity during weekends. I don't know why but, I guess members here just got to do something else during those days that they can't have spare time to sign in here and try to be active. I depend on responses from my discussions as well as replies that I get from posts on discussions that I participated in. When nothing like that happens, I seem to be just wandering around this site and looking for discussions that interests me, even if those discussions have really not been active for a year or so...

When the weather is good, then I do tend to do things for the holidays or on weekends. I generally like staying active, so I tend to go and do things like heading to the park and working out, or going to run or heading to the gym. Then we also work on cleaning the house or doing things with our families. We tend to relax a bit more on the weekend though as well, including sleeping in late and just vegging out at home, but when we do things we do get out and do them.

I am usually more active during holidays and vacations. The reason is i have less time to myself as everyone else is not working. Much more fuss and action around me all the time. I will get very exhausted and will need to rest more when the others go back to work, and I get to have my boring daily routine back.

I often find i'm more lazy and feel more tired on holidays. For me its because i'm so busy any other time that when i sit down to relax my body just recoperates! I have been told on the grape vine (so don't know how true it is) that your more prone to feeling tired when your out of routine even if that means your doing less than usual.
