I love to work on my gazelle, do workouts with dvd's and also weight lifting. I find that if I vary my workout each day with a different DVD or maybe just do my gazelle, I don't get burned out. Also my husband and I have started playing Frisbee after he gets home from work in the afternoon and that also will help you burn some calories. This would be an example of my typical workout week. Monday-1 hr on gazelle Tuesday- 1/2 hour of DVD workout and 1/2 hour of weight lifting Wednesday- 1/2 hour of walking and 1/2 hour of weight lifting Thursday- 1 hour on the gazelle Friday- 1/2 hour of another DVD workout and 1/2 hour of weight lifting Saturday- 1/2 hour of walking and 1/2 hour of weight lifting Sunday I don't work out because I have church.

Inorder to stay fit i like to walk as it is relaxing and simplest exercise one can do esp. in fresh air. Then i like to do some basic stretching exercises to get my limbs loosened esp. back, spine, hips, abs. I also like to do aerobics and yoga with music on as it is effective workout without over exerting oneself. Though i have tried skipping too.

I walk 30 minutes everyday. I find it is the best exercise and very easy to do. If the weather is bad I have a walking workout DVD that I use. I just feel better after exercising.

I love walking outside. I love being in the fresh air and knowing that I'm burning calories. I usually walk with headphones but lately I've found myself enjoying the peace and quite. I let my mind be free and I enjoy having a million thoughts go in and out of my head. I've actually thought of some great article topics while walking and I hope to soon put them on paper. I can walk probably ten miles without even realizing it because I get so caught up in my head!

I prefer walking as my main exercise. It loses weight the same with any other exercise. It's safe and your muscle or joints wont get stressed out.

Oh and I dance around the house doing chores with my baby too - and walk round the base in his stroller - and around the house. He hates being still - good and bad for me!

I'm pretty likely to burn out too. I've, powerwalked, t "treadmilled", done yoga, Tai Bo, you name it, I've likely tried it, even joined traditional gyms and I just lose motivation- especially if the machines are tricky. I just joined Curves for Women though - and its very different. First, each machine works two muscles and there are no weights to fool around with - works off your own resistance - and the best part is - you only stay on for 30 seconds! Then you move to a board and walk, run, skip or dance around for 30 more seconds - then its on to the next machine. The music is great and diverse - and fitness trainers stand in the middle making sure you're using proper form so you don't injure yourself - and they engage us in really fun discussions and a variety of games. I signed up last month (trying to say goodbye to the rest of baby weight) and I got in with no initiation fee in exchange for bringing in a bag of food for a food drive. That promotion is over - but I think they have a half off fee if you come in with a buddy - which actually makes going to the gym - just convincing yourself to go - a heck of a lot easier. I lost 7lbs and six inches. I actually can't lose too much each month - I'm nursing (which burns 500 calories a day suppsedly ) so I need to eat 2500 to 3500 calories a day to keep up my own reserves and energy. :)

I walk every weekday. During the winter I walk at an indoor track. I do 30 laps in an hour. It's over 3 miles. In the summer I walk outside and rejoice in God's creations. I walk briskly and I do sweat. The inside track is over an indoor ice rink so I have to dress warmly. I layer up so that I will sweat. In the summer, the heat makes me sweat. I usually go out at noon. I always drink water while I am walking. In the summer I come home to an air-conditioned house and a swimming pool so I don't mind going out at high noon.

Well if I'm honest, I'm a bit of a "couch potato" - exercise doesn't really "do" it for me at all - LOL! But I do try and walk a lot, and I also go swimming once a week. I couldn't be dealing with anything too strenuous though - LOL!

I like to walk but can't always do that because of the weather so I bought a treadmill which I use regularly. However, my friend and I have just started doing a half-hour walk then we go back to her place and we use the big excercise ball with DVD instructions for another half hour. We do it once a week, and we have a ball! We motivate each other, and it never gets boring because we laugh all the time at each other rolling round the floor with the ball! They say laughter is an excercise in itself too, don't they?

I walked along the beach yesterday...it was a great work out. My legs are sore today! I wish I lived closer to the ocean...I would do this every day! I also love to turn up some music really loud and dance around the house. I'm breathless after a few songs.

My favorite way to exercise is to swim or play waterpolo. I have to admit that I don't do this enough lately. I am active though. I go to body combat class twice a week and that's my number 3 favorite way...

I find that I burn out on any type of exercize program that I start, except for walking. So, I finally went ahead and got a treadmill, I do about 1 to 2 miles 5 to 6 times a week now. It also helps if I turn on some music, or talking on the speaker phone while I'm walking makes the time fly by too!
