Cmedia Drivers for Vista

Hi, Does anyone know when Cmedia will sort the issue with Vista drivers?, its really annoying as I have waited for months now and can't use my sound system without the drivers. Does anyone know an alternative method, or a cheap sound card I could buy that is compatible with vista and will work with my hifi? thanks
