How young were you when you started to drink?

Those new TV ads where the child indicates she/he will be an drunk in seven years is no jive. I know many people who have died in their twenties from this illness. They usually didn't start in their twenties...

I will never drink. My mother started when she was 15, and has been through AA three times. It is horrible.

I know some many people who do not drink for that same reason. But, I also know people who were not turned away from drinking because of their parents behavior. Perception. Thanks for the comment.

I started REALLY drinking when I was a junior in high school. It was just something that came along with being an upperclassman and being on the football team. We would go out when at all possible. Especially during the summer.
