There are plenty of cooking magazines out there with great recipes and cooking tips. I subscribe to Cooking Pleasures, and I also enjoy Family Circle's cooking section. I also like the little booklets of recipes that are next to the check-out counter in the grocery store. Do you get any recipes from magazines? Do you have a favorite magazine that you recommend for good recipes or pictures of food? Please share!

I don't subscribe to any particular publication on Cooking. However, I do buy some recipe booklets whenever there is a special occassion/edition. In my country, recipe books or booklets are published every other day. So, I can't really recommend. I live in a multiracial country where every race/family has their very own secret recipes that they want to share!

I think it's fun to look at recipes in magazines and newspapers, but I rarely try them because I'm never certain how they are supposed to turn out. Occasionally it's just a matter of being too nervous to risk something. I like to try recipes from the internet, because then other people have tried them and said what to do and how it turned out.

My best magazine for recipes is Taste of Home and then I like EveryDay Foods. I have binders for different recipes and they serve me well for the season change as we can garden and then harvest and canning, dehydrating and freezing. Then pantry eating. I like to make the 'in-a-jar' mixes. Nice to meet another person that likes to collect the recipes and make the goodies too.
