Dr. Leonard McCoy (played perfectly by the late, great Deforest Kelley) was my favorite. I was fascinated by his "Sick Bay" of the future and tried making the gadgets at home for when we kids played SPACE. I always wanted to play the doctor. In the future for me, my finances only let me go as far as nursing, but you'd be surprized at some of the STAR TREK medical devices we have now! Favorite line from McCoy: "Jim! I'm a doctor, not a _________!" (fill in the blank).

"Jim I'm a doctor not a bricklayer! " lol I'm a pretty huge original star trek fan actually. I must say that my favorite character would have to be Spock..though I sometimes think the attraction was purely physical :-P Of course I always held a great love for Scotty too...ahh heck, I loved them all!!

While all my girlfriends thought Kirk was the bee's knees, I had the hots for Spock. Why? Because he was unattainable. I used to go for that type a lot, lol, dark and brooding. I finally wised up.
I watch the show regularly still. I like all of them. Uhuru, Sulu, Checkov, all of them.

My favorite would have to be Lieutenant Uhurrah, the last one in charge of the command staff but for me the most vital. She was in charge of communications, listening, picking up on stuff that only a trained intuitive receptive ear and heart would be confided to by another intelligent race. She shined in her appeal to both men and women attractively, physically and psychologically. She was diverse in demonstrating forging through cultural barriers having strided and bridged them, representing higher intellect by choosing always the appropriate response or query, and always looking very self-confidant in her role assigned.
Here is to space travel with the feminine mystique aboard!

moments when he lost the vulcan composure were hilarious.even when he was being sarcastic,he still did it in an elegant way.
non regular-khan.
he had an air about him.i was happy when they brought him back for the movie-i wish they had revisited shows more often.
