Drinking too many soft drinks are bad for you. You should try to quit drinking them. Start drinking a lot of water with ice. If you don't like it plain, then squeeze a slice of lemon into it. That makes it taste more refreshing. There are many side effects from drinking too many soft drinks. I used to think I had to have one with every meal and a couple more sometime during the day. I still drink one once every day or two, but nothing like before. Now, when I am thirsty I get a big glass of water with ice in it and say to myself that I will get a soft drink next time. Then when the next time comes, I get water again. When I decide that I really want the drink badly enough, I drink one. Then it is back to water again.

I didnt know you could get uti just by drinking soft drinks. did your doctor tell its really because of too much soft drinks? I suspect that it is not caused directly by the softdrinks but because of minimal clear water that you take in since most of the liquid that goes inside your body is composed of mostly softdrinks. I used to abuse my body by taking in so much soft drinks. I developed stomach ulcers that became so painful and bothersome. Not to mention dangerous. I finally forced myself to stop 8 years ago and along with it, coffee, citrus juices etc. I am not only out of danger from ulcers, I am also free of the calories, sugar, and gassy after effect that soft drinks cause.

It sounds to me like your sugar levels are too high - in which case you should consider being tested for diabetes. Diabetics can get UTIs from too much sugar-Increased sugar levels in the bladder can cause irritation of the bladder muscle and can lead to UTIs. of course this might not be the reason, but you should have it checked. The best thing to get rid of UTIs is to drink lots of water - not soft drink or juice but plain water. Good luck!

I cannot imagine that you, being so young, went to UTI because of drinking bad things...i strongly advise you to have a good check of your health condition and take better care of yourself...of course my advice is to drink natural water at room temperature instead of great amount of soft drinks because they contain many substances that can be nocive..of course you can have one or two soft drinks but not hundreds of them!!! take care my dear!!
