I said to my girl, "doesn't your doggy bite u?"
She said, "nope. She loves me very much."
Then I asked, "does she loves u more than I do?"
She answered, "I don't know."
For a sec I felt insulted.
Then I thought, "well, who knows! Maybe the doggy loves her more than me or as much as me, cos she has got a heart like mine too ."

Why should you have felt insulted. Maybe you should feel proud that the girl you chose was worthy of being loved by another being, even if it was only a dog. Besides, there is different kinds of love. Animals love their owners with one kind of love. Parents love their children with another kind of love. And you love your girl with a special boy girl love. All of them are good and there should be room for them all in every person's life.
